Games with Gold. Had to pay

Hey Guys,

I hope this is the right forum.

Today I checked for the new Games with Gold and wanted to get "Lego.." and "Tomb Raider...". Everything went fine with buying the free Lego-game, I didnt got charged anything, so i went to grab Tomb Raider for free too. I didnt
really pay much attention to the payment, expecting it wouldnt charge me anything like in the past. But the E-mail from Pay-Pal proved otherwise. So now
I got charged the full prize, instead of getting it for free.

My question is now, how do I get my money back, the easiest way? Do I have to call my bank to reset the payment, or can Microsoft handle this more easily, like a refund etc. The more easy the better for me. Hope someone can answer me, quick, else I'll have
to go to my Bank I guess.

Games with Gold: had to pay for Banjo-Kazooie

Thank you both for the answers.

But I logged in and was at the correct region, because I saw Gears of War 2.

It seems the regiom changed at clicking on Download from de-AT to de-DE.

Then I used the back button im the browser and the region get's not changed back and I got Banjoo.

So, for me it seems that it was a side related issue.

I will contact our local support - now the location is correct again if I log in and do something..

 

Games with Gold: had to pay for Banjo-Kazooie

I was looking on the homepage for the x360 Games which should be also available for xOne.

First I saw the Gears of War 2 Game which I wanted to download and which I were waiting for.

It was not possible. Than the free x360 Game changed from Gears of War 2 to the mentioned Banjo-Kazooie.

I clicked on pay -> for Games with Gold Members free (I am a member) -> clicked on pay (I thought it is free as mentioned) and saw at the last moment that I have to pay 14.99 for it.

Why? I haven't before an issue like that.

Also if I go to "Contact" it says I should log-in and add a credit card.

But I am locked in and there is a credit card in the settings.

This is a very strange behaviour.

Please check.
