Games with Gold: had to pay for Banjo-Kazooie

I was looking on the homepage for the x360 Games which should be also available for xOne.

First I saw the Gears of War 2 Game which I wanted to download and which I were waiting for.

It was not possible. Than the free x360 Game changed from Gears of War 2 to the mentioned Banjo-Kazooie.

I clicked on pay -> for Games with Gold Members free (I am a member) -> clicked on pay (I thought it is free as mentioned) and saw at the last moment that I have to pay 14.99 for it.

Why? I haven't before an issue like that.

Also if I go to "Contact" it says I should log-in and add a credit card.

But I am locked in and there is a credit card in the settings.

This is a very strange behaviour.

Please check.

I would also love to see an offical Banjo and Kazooie 3 video game and a complete remake of the first 2 with updated graphics. I read that shortly after Microsft aquired "Rare". The two developers who were lead designers on the Banjo and Kazooie franchise
left "Rare" for other projects.



So, short of the original developers returning to "Rare". There would have to be another group of developers hired-on at "Rare". Who are as enthusiastic about the Banjo and Kazooie franchise and have a great idea for a 3rd sequel.



"Banjo and Kazooie Nuts n' Bolts" had great physics. It was fun trying-out different flying vehicle configurations and seeing how they would fly in different ways. Overall it was more of a side quest than an official sequel to Banjo-Tooie.

 

Bango-Kazooie is only the free game for certain regions where Gears of War 2 is not available. So it would depend on what region your in. If it's supposed to be free for your region, or if you want to try to get a refund, you would have to contact support
for your region. The contact website should not ask for a credit card.

You have to remember to change the locale of the website to your actual account location

But I logged in and was at the correct region, because I saw Gears of War 2.

It seems the regiom changed at clicking on Download from de-AT to de-DE.

Then I used the back button im the browser and the region get's not changed back and I got Banjoo.

So, for me it seems that it was a side related issue.

I will contact our local support - now the location is correct again if I log in and do something..
