Games with gold gone after factory reset?

Hi,

I just did a factory reset on my xbone, after the reset I was surprised that all the games I downloaded with Xbox Live Gold are gone (the free xbox360 games, etc). Is there any way to get them back? I thought that once you "purchased" a game it would stay
in your account. Well they were not really purchased, but still, how come they are not linked to my account???

I really hope somehow I can get them back....

Hi there,

just to be sure, please check your Gold subscription, since Xbox One games acquired via GwG will require an active Gold subscription, you can check the subscription status here:
http://account.microsoft.com/services

Also check if you are using the same profile that was used to 'purchase' the games.

If both checks have a positive result then please try the following:

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

Also make sure the console is connected to Xbox Live (if it's not your account's Home console, that purchased the games)

Game with Gold, Gone?

I did all of that. Im not sure how to verify that im the one who purchased it but i went tgrough all the accounts i have on my xbox ( all family ) and none of them were able to play the games. I did the manual power cycle. Nothing. This ONLY affects games
i have aquired with gold. Its my home console. Im always connected to live. None of the games show up in my purchase history

If you own the games then they should be available to download once you log in using the account that was originally used to purchase it.

If you highlight the games section of My games & Apps they should be sitting on the far right hand side under waiting to install. If they do not appear here please carry out a hard reset and hopefully they will appear afterwards.

I obviously looked in the far right side of My apps and games, but they are not there, note that it were games I owned through Xbox Live Gold free games (not purchased), but I thought once you own a game, it would be linked to your account.

I already did a hard reset and that's why they are gone, I don't think doing a second hard reset will bring them back as they were removed the first time...

After a Factory reset of the console this bug has gone away but it is still very odd that it ever occurred.

If you are having software bugs, as much as you don't want to, Factory reset it.

Your achievements never gone when they synced with the Xbox server.

Have you try a factory reset on you phone after the screen repair?

Do it and test it after the reset. When your achievements gone after all, please call the Xbox Support in your country for more help.

Thank you for responding to my post but some of my questions still have not been answered yet like how my Xbox froze up after I tried to download Batman on it.
