Games with gold for May

According to Official Xbox Mag the next free game for gold members will be Dust: An Elysian Tail. This hasn't been confirmed by Microsoft yet.

I thought the pattern was a Retail game 1st followed by an Arcade game halfway through the month.

Not played this game, was it any good?

Yeah, you snooze you lose, because Goth Vampirella already delivered her take on this month's "Garbage With Gold". However, one person's trash is another person's treasure, so... I'll get my coat (and go dumpster diving).

 

Brilliant game.Especially when you realise it was mostly made by just one person.

 

I played a few hours and really enjoyed it, it's like Muramasa on the Wii. However the art design of the characters and the voice acting is horrific. Deviant art levels of bad. But it's lots of fun to play.

 

Will give this a blast, still have deadlight to try out too

 

I download these free games but don't think I've got around to playing one yet, the gaming time I get is spent on Xbox One at the moment. Think I will buy fewer games and try some of these out

Wow, I bet that took a long time. Even with a big team don't games even with the simplest of context take a fair while to produce?

 

yes I agree slaphead, I too have downloaded 95% of all the GWG and have played them just a little because of the xbox one. I feel my 360 is becoming a machine of nostalgia now.

saying that, I wonder if renegade or rolling thunder will ever come to arcade?

 

Confirmed by Major Nelson to be Dust (1st) then Saints Row: The Third (16th).

 

Well I don't mind, so long as the library grows and grows. That way, if my X1 ever bricks it, I have a vast wealth of games to hit up
