Games with Gold error

I want to download the walking dead 360 version from games with gold but it's still showing metal gear ground zeros. anyone know what the problem is?

Hi All,

First of all, sorry if this isn't in the right place :/

I was recently given a 3 month xbox live gold membership as a present. I put in the code last month and everything was fine up until a couple of days ago when I decided to check out his months free games with gold. As soon as I hit the A button on the box to
show me what the game was, I received a flash screen saying I had to join Xbox Live Gold!! My subscription doesn't run out until November so am a bit puzzled as to why this is happening.

I left it a couple of days, thinking it may be a glitch but it's still happening and now I'm getting annoyed. What is the point in paying for any type of subscription if you don't provide a decent service? The other issue that makes this worse is how many times
Xbox live is unavailable and no, before anyone says it, it's not my internet, wifi (because I've also tried hard wiring the xbox to the internet) or communication between my modem and my xbox...whenever I test the connection the problem always lies between
the internet and xbox service. So basically...both of these issues are your problem Microsoft - get it sorted (and fast) otherwise I will be forced to leave.

 

Have you tried to just looking up the game and downloading it there? It should still show as free even if it's not showing on the ad.

 

i did that all i could get was dlc and game ad-ons. i couldn't even buy the game let a alone download it

 

That's what I guessed. For some reason it seems as though all of the episodes are available except for the first one which allows you to play the full game. I can't seem to find why that's the case though.

 

that sucks. so that means i can't get it without buying it from a game store

 

Yeah, which doesn't make too much sense since I think the disc has all of season 1 anyway. So I'm not sure why they'd have all the other episodes for free.

It looks like the issue has been fixed, so you should be able to download the game properly now.
