    Games with Gold Download Not Working/Showing Up


    When it was available through Games with Gold, I downloaded the original Destroy All Humans Xbox title and had it listed under games I owned. Recently, I went to play it and was able to, but the next day I found myself unable to, an error message popping
    up saying the owner of the game needed to sign in to play it. While I have other accounts linked to my Xbox One S, I only ever use my main account, having no reason to use others. I tried restarting my console to no avail and thought maybe uninstalling/reinstalling
    the game would fix the issue. However, now the game is gone from my library and the store indicates I need to purchase it for $20 now in order to play it. Is there a fix for this or can anyone offer any advice? The support section on the Microsoft website
    has been maddingly unhelpful and I'm on the verge of giving up. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

    Yes, you can download games with gold on the Xbox 360. Sometimes issues arise for games with gold. I'm sure Microsoft are aware of the issue with the game not showing up for free on the 360, and will be working on a fix.

    For me the free gold games or actual free games that i download dont show up on purchase history, only games that i actually buy show up

    New Gold Live Membership

    Hello! Go to the Gold members' area on your console to download your games. Games show up on the 1st and 16th of every month. Or, go to Games with Gold on Xbox.com to queue your games up for download to your console.
    Also -you'll need an Xbox Live Gold membership to claim your games.

    Why are Games missing after I have purchased on Games with Gold for free?

    I have the same problem. Can not play the games, but the games show in my games list, that I own them. My Gold membership is still active. Please help.
    Mine no longer show up in my games list. Since the seperation of owned games and games with gold showing in different sections they no longer show up.

    They do show on my download history but now the same titles I click on from Xbox Live Gold from previous years are not showing available to download anymore. Xbox say you own them forever. What gives?

    Doing that doesn't work. I already attempted it. As for downloading it under a new profile apparently it needs to be a gold membership, because the download option doesn't show up for the new profile I just created.
