Games with gold (DiRT 3)

Why can't I download Dirt 3 on my Xbox one? If I do a search in the store on my console - it returns bundle ony. If I try to buy it from xbox.com I'll get an error saying that i have to complete the transaction on my console. Yes i'm a xbox live gold member
and I have a valid paymant option registered. The only solution i have found on the net is to buy a xbox 360, start download and stop it immediately, go to your xbox one and continue download from "ready to install". But if buying a 360 is the way to get backwards
compatibility on my Xbone, then maybe the next update will make me able to play PS4 games- provided that I buy a PS4. When will there be a solution?

Same problem here with Dungeon Siege III, free with GOLD. I didn't have any problems with Dirt 3.

 

It looks like it was all just a marketing trick....

so they can publish: " now with you live with gold 4 free games a month...."

Having an 360 is not required to get the game.

I got the game from the
website yesterday and the game appeared in my "Ready to Install" list.

 

CrunchySwine, you're posting from a Silver account. Please keep in mind that you cannot get Games With Gold unless you are a paid Gold member. 14-day trials do not allow this.

Nut as you can see, most of us cannot get the game from the website nor from the xb1

 

Ok i'm giving up on this. My son is a gold member, the subscription ends July next year. He is not able to download the game from the marketplace, error as described in my first post. I've managed to lock my parental xbox account at microsoft for thirty
days so i'm not aloud to buy anything at the marketplace. Tried creating a new profile on the xbox an adult only to be told that I don't have xbox live membership when I log in to the marketplace.

We had a 360 and still cannot get it.. the website only allows us to dl to a 360, and the games are not in our install list. Also none of our digital 360 games on my gfs account show up either to download on the ready to install list.

 

Ok last post. Just spent an hour chatting with ms support - still no sollution. They wanted my to set my sons privicy settings to allow everything on xbox.com. But logging in as him i'm not allowed to, my wife has the parental account and as mentioned above
i've managed to lock that for thirty days. Anyhow they confirmed a few reports of people having problems accessing the 360 games. (In fact they asked my to try to sign in on a 360 to get the game, see the workaround mentioned in my first post). So with abit
of luck, the next update will make us able to play PS4 games, just buy the console first!
