Games with gold August 2019 problem

I don’t own an xbox one at the moment but still have an active gold sub but cannot put gears 4 on my account on the website all it says is it is on gamepass and I can purchase it for 19.99 even though I have an active gold sub? I don’t trust the website
because it looks like I’m going to purchase it, any ideas I even tried it loading my account on a friends xbox even that doesn’t work has it only shows his games and mine combined he already downloaded it. I remember when you could do this on xbox iphone app
but that no longer works.

Finally managed to check on a windows laptop and did manage to add it to my account not sure how has it never said I did 🤔. Strange, but thanks for the reply.

If you have Windows 10 installed, try getting it from the Microsoft store app on there instead.

Physical from game stop and yes I have xbox. Ultimate but it only a free trial bought xbox live gold in August 2019. before I enter xbox Ultimate free trial
