Games with Gold and Offers tile is missing

Unfortunately the information in the tiles on the home screen is not customizable, and they can't be turned off. If it's what I'm thinking, it's one of the smaller tiles to the right of the larger main tile? Usually the information in these tiles changes;
so, for new users it will have basic new-user info like navigation options and Xbox Live Gold offers. If you already have Live Gold, then after a while those tiles should change to show ads for new releases, special offers, and the Games with Gold section.

the games for gold is found on the console by going to:

games, browse games,and then its generally the tile on the top left that has the current games for gold offer

I found it finally. In subscriptions, it's buried but it is there.

On the Xbox One home dashboard scroll to the Xbox Live Gold tile which should be the second to last in the first row after the tiles of your recently used apps. You should then be re-directed to the dedicated Xbox Live
Gold section of the Microsoft Store and under Featured you should see a tile that says "Claim your Ultimate Gift". After selecting that tile, you should be able to claim the offers for Discord Nitro granted you meet the terms and conditions that will be listed
in the footer. Alternatively, you can find the tile to claim your offers by going to the Game Pass tab on the home page (press RB).

Which offer are you referring to (50% off for 6 months or 1 month for $1)? What did you click on (ie where was it located)?

I just clicked on the 50% off for 6 months tile on the dashboard home screen to see if I can reproduce your experience and that took me to the Xbox Live Gold page which has no sign of the 50% offer. I don't know if it's because I'm already subscribed to
Game Pass until July 2019 or if the offer is simply missing.
