Games with Gold always downloading as corrupt!

Not using a vpn. Been downloading gwg with a US account for years in Germany with NO problems until this summer, so you didn't understand my first question. I also said some titles will download some won't. Mature content games are banned in Germany, but
games like Dirt are not. I can download that game usually with my US account, "have" been able to without getting a corrupted game until recently

Hey Madcap ! Sorry to hear you having this issue , The account I'm currently using to reply on this form was an account I Had to create when I was living in Australia, long story short even thou i'm back in the USA, I've also had the similar issues with
some title restrictions due to licenses. I don't think this is necessarily a network issue if other games and content can be downloaded normally without any issue

what I suggest is try signing into a friends xbox 360 and see if the same issue replicates itself

cause if it doesn't it may actually be something happening to your HDD ( maybe signs of it failing etc) but doing this process of elimination could help get us in the right direction

They havent changed anything since June the region locks have always been enforced

Only xbox one gwg have less region locked content

And the majority of recent games with gold have been region locked so you would've run in to the issue quite a few times unless you are using something you aren't supposed to like vpn then you take your risks with content

But I have downloaded gwg titles from Germany with the same US account since gwg started without any problems. Only games that are not allowed in Germany would not download because of strict German rating rules (mature ratings) These "mature" games usually
would not go on my download queue. Since June the games will download normally but after download, 100%, they appear on my hdd as corrupt. Like I said sometimes after several download attempts a game might not download as corrupt

Most gwg titles have been available in Germany and are not region locked. My friend downloads them all the time here. On my German account I can download them but I don't have two gold accounts on my console

Thanks for replying. I believe that your issue is going to be regional. If I'm reading your response correctly then you live in Germany with a US account. Some content cannot be downloaded to regions they were not intended for and this would be the reason
it is coming in corrupt.

Please try migrating your account to your physical location and I think you'll find you will no longer have issues.
