Games with Gold 360 to One, cannot download

Hey I have an Issue downloading the 360 games onto my xbox 1. I've gone straight to the xbox store through my Pc, Sign in with my account and Click on the "download to xbox 360 " button. Instead of asking for conformation on Purchase, All I . get is this

However You can't download the 360 games through the One. The 360 games are usually the really good games with gold and this month's are great. can someone please help me?

Backward Compatibility

Every month I download 2 free games on Gold to my Xbox one, but, i cannot download the 360 games from Gold into my Xbox one for backward compatibility. How do i activate my Xbox One to start playing backward compatible 360 games.

Are you on a child account by chance? Do you have a payment method (credit card/Paypal) on file?

What type of subscription is it? A full gold subscription or a trial (48 hour, 7 day, or 14 day)?

Trial subscriptions will allow you to download the One games for free since they still require a gold subscription to keep playing, but you cannot download the 360 games since they do not.

The reason you cannot get Star Wars is because you cannot get Xbox 360 games with Gold with a trial. Only Xbox One Games with Gold are available to get with a trial.

Now if you are a child account trying too download it yes you do need a 360 because of the parental settings.

If you qr an adult account You got two options

Own a 360 and queue the download

Or

Here is the difference

Add a payment option and then download via your xbox one

If it's games with gold you must have a payment options on file it just won't be charged as long as you have gold not home gold

If you do not wish to add a payment option for games with gold titles you cannot queue it without an xbox 360
