Games will not initialize, the system keeps bouncing back to the home screen.

I know this topic has been covered, but I'd like to add onto it.

The issue is that games will not load unless I do a full reboot i.e unplug the system and hard restart it.

The issue has been more pronounced the last few days and only seems to react with games.

Affected games:

TitanFall (disc)

BattleField 4 (disc)

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare (Digital)

This seems like an old windows error where you'd have an "instance" of something running and a program wouldn't load.

The only fix I remember was to open the task manager and kill the process, is there a way that you can kill tasks on the X1 without a full reboot?

Elder Scrolls Online Xbox One

Not having that problem but keep getting bounced back to the title screen but I'm loving the game

 

cant play after game add on

so after game add onin ww2,cant get past xbox live screen keeps sending me back to home screen

While on the Xbox Hub (formerly Dashboard), hover over the application that you are having issues with and press the Menu (formerly Start) button. This will bring up a list of options. Scroll down to 'Quit". This exits the application.

Thanks for the response. I do use that feature whenever it happens, however the only thing listed is "manage" opposed to the option to "quit" a game. On rare occasions I can actually quit the program but 90% of time it isn't an option.
