Games wanting to be installed even though they were installed months ago

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has come across this problem that i have with games on xbox one saying "ready to install" even though i installed them months ago.So when i put in the disc of a game that says "ready to install" it won't.I went to xbox website
and it told me to dissconnect from the internet and uninstall and reinstall the game and that worked,for now.Here's a little problem with uninstalling a game,you also uninstall any updates for that game which in dead rising 3 is 16gb of an update.As many of
you know the broadband in ireland is crap but luckily my sister leaves in a town and has fast unlimited broadband but i'm gonna have to leave my xbox one with her for a day or 2 to reload all the updates that are missing from 4 games that had this problem.I
think it would be great if a game had to be uninstalled and reinstalled because of a problem that you could leave the updates separate.Also i'm in the preview groups for xbox one updates.Glad to hear kinect voice control and a quick sub menu for achievements
coming this month.

USB 3.0 Drive... Can I use it to transfer an installed game from one Xbox One console to another?

If the disc drive is faulty then you may still have issues even with the game installed on an external drive.

The disc still needs to be read to verify it when you first put the disc into the console.

I've had faulty disc drives that would not play disc copies of games even though they were already installed.

Contemplating buying the Xbox Slim

Games installed from DVD are locked to the storage device and console they were installed to. The install can be copied by the old copy software that came on disc with the old transfer cable, but it won't work afterwards. The built-in software won't even
transfer installed games.

Glad to here voice command are comming aswel as for your problem xbox now sopports external storege if you had a memory card big enuf you could try copying the game to that and keep it spare it would take less time to move back onto your xbox than downloading
them agen if you had to uninstall it agen

the update should have been available since early summer 14 but if you problem consists try to delete and re-install or else contact support

i have simlar issue were I go to install a game inculded with the pc game pass but it takes me to the trial 1£ a month and it doesn't reconginze my 3 month pass which I just started 2 days ago. The mircosoft store works though, so you could download games
from there.

No it's the network because I was updating other games and they were doing fine but for mw3 update it doesn't want to install,it doesn't even try to install even a little bit of it. It just says installation stopped
