Now that SR-IV is free, what about the DLC? ie.... Online Pass etc. Does that also become free aswell.

Game Rentals via Gamefly?

I use gamefly to play many games which are hard to find or reviewed horribly but I still wanna give them a shot without buying outright, and there has been many a game I purchased after enjoying it during my rental most recently Rage which with all the bad
press I thought would be horrible but it wasn't so bad and the last remnant a game I hadn't heard of before seeing it on gameflys rpg recommended list. This policy I have a feeling will hurt more than help as I'm sure I'm not the only one who follows this
practice, they continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

Im really interested to see how this approved retailer thing works since in my area the biggest seller of games is a locally owned small buisness with only 3-4 stores they carry games all the way back to nes and have great deals on new games. Does this mean
they won't be allowed to sell games for the one? I'm sure microsoft wants them to sell systems and new games, and if they aren't allowed to sell used I'd just as soon see them remove all microsoft products from their shelves. Used game stores like this are
the only way for many of us to get the games we loved in our youth once again from systems back as far as the atari. Now they aren't worthy to sell your games microsoft? Well I guess we just aren't worthy enough to buy your new console.

no. you still need to pay for the DLC's. it's only if you own a 360 game along with DLCs, and the game is made BC that you don't have to repay everything.

 

I thought I heard people saying the DLC's were free for Saints Row IV, but I guess I misheard.

 

There's a couple of costume packs (I think) that are free but the actual dlc isn't free as far as I can see.

You're right, there are some cosmetic packs that are free, but you have to pay for most of the other stuff.
