    Hi, I would like to ask a very simple question.

    I have a very slow internet connection (about 0.2 Mb/s).

    I would like to know why Xbox requires me to update games (often with updates that only concern the multiplayer section, which I do not use because I no longer have Xbox Live Gold) with updates that often reach even 30 GB. this means download days for me. It
    seems absurd to buy a game and not be able to play when I prefer and keep the console in offline mode to play to "something". is there a way around this problem? I can remove automatic updates or simply the games updates?

    Updates are a must if you want to stay connected to xbox live.

    The only other solution is to play offline.

    We have a wireless connection. We tried it wired but it still didn't work. We looked at the connection statistics on the xbox in settings and it said:

    Download speed - .01 Mbps

    Upload speed - .23 Mbps

    Packet loss - 0 percent

    MTO - 1480

    Latency 247 ms

    Do you have any other suggestions?

    Does sound like the game installation has been going to slow and possibly cause a problem. Do as BobMcFly247 says, and try a direct connection with a cord.
