Games uninstalled themselves on Gamepass for PC

Why are games i have downloaded uninstalling themselves? Ive checked the install location and its empty. When i think about playing a game, i find that it is gone and have to wait hours or even days to play it. I don't live in a city with super fast internet. These hours/days mean i cant do anything internet related while the download is active. Ive seen posts from months ago with the same issue and its still happening. Why is no one fixing this issue? Hopefully there's a workaround or a fix before my subscription ends or ill have to play games somewhere else.

do you cancel any game updates, if you do then it deletes the entire game same as on console.

the problem is possibly in windows, for microsoft to fix it they need the reports to know what causes the problem, and it is not a constant problem, making it difficult to solve the problem.

Thank you to everyone for your advice. I unplugged the external storage, waited 30 sexonds, then plugged it back again. Everything is back to normal now. 😀
