Games that use Xbox services won't connect

at first I thought it was a Nat Type issue, but I was able to set Nat type to Open in the end. However, I'm still having trouble whenever I try to connect to any game using Xbox services to connect to online. It's really frustrating because I had just bought a battle pass on Halo Infinite, and I can't even play it anymore.

A lot of ISPs won't open ports for you or anything else so it probably isn't worth wasting your time phoning them as suggested above...most routers are simple enough to manually forward the relevant ports:

Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

Besides, ask them to put their PC's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

To locate the IP of your PC: On the taskbar, select Wi-Fi network > the Wi-Fi network you're connected to > Properties.

Under Properties, look for your IP address listed next to IPv4 address.

Bro i dont know much but i think that it may help try downloading xbox application from microsoft store type xbox and download then sign in

If you are using console then follow these steps

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

I think fault is pointing at Microsoft considering I can use my internet and other services besides xbox live. PS3 is able to connect to it's network, so how is that Verizons fault that it won't connect to Xbox Live?

Mine says the network connection is fine but it won't let me do anything not netflix or Hulu or games I play offline it keeps saying I need to connect to Xbox live but my test network and test multiplayer say I should be able to use all service's
