    I'm trying to find an answer. I've been all over the Internet and found nothing that tells me.

    A game like Destiny says "Internet connection required" on its case. An I know that it can be played without Xbox live gold.

    Is the same true for any game that says "Internet connection required"? Or is Destiny an exception... and "requires Internet connection" and "requires Xbox live gold" the same thing?

    Just trying to have get a straight answer on this because one game will say one thing on its cover while another game says the other.

    Instructions Manuals that comes with Disc Games, do you miss them?

    That Error 37 was with Diablo in,, I don't know or care. You're pretty desperate using that as an example. Have you considered broken pre internet games? this is about manuals, not digital vs discs.

    Many single player games require updates,,,,,,, They also don't require these updates to play offline. So the conclusion to this thread is that the Xbox community can't communicate or discuss a single topic without getting to the vs stage.

    I'm so confused. My gaming consists of old school nintendo. Looking into an xbox 360 for my 8 year old. I do not want to spend a monthly amount on xbox gold, but are there any kid games we can buy without xbox gold?

    So far I am looking into halo, plants vs zombies (requires gold?) Minecraft.

    Can someone please tell me kid games to buy that doesn't require xbox gold? Thank you!

    Plants vs Zombies Xbox 360

    Single player games can be played without Gold. Gold is only required to play online. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is an online only game and requires Gold.

    to connect the Xbox One S console to the internet all you need is a internet connection, to which you can connect the console.

    For youtube there is not addition membership required, for Netflix a Netflix membership is required.

    There is no need for a Xbox Live Gold subscription to be able to use these apps and download demo's or purchased games etc.

    A membership like Xbox Live Gold is required when you want to play multiplayer games online or use party chat etc

    If it's Plants vs. Zombies you don't need gold to play it. If it's Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, then that is an online only game so gold is required.
