    So I have a Series S and I'm playing Soul Calibur 6 which is not series s or x enhanced and it looks terrible. Is this a thing were all non series enhanced games look like (Mod Removed) on the consoles?

    Looks like I might be returning the Series S then I knew it wasn't as powerful as the Series X but my god.

    Also Rocket League which is a game I play a ton it is Series S|X enhanced and on quality mode on Series S it looks like trash. I don't mind graphics hence why I bought the series s but God jaggies everywhere and looks pixelated.

    I'm not saying it has to be enhanced I'm just saying if I had a base Xbox one and was playing soul calibur 6 it would look better than it does on my series s it's pixelated and has jaggies everywhere.
    It wouldn't, not unless you were on a TV or monitor with a lower native resolution. The game looks pretty bad on a base Xbox One console, worse if you plug such a console into a 4K display.

    The reason why it's jaggy is because it's only running at a measly 720P. Hence why it looks a bit like a Xbox 360 game as the 360 was a 720P machine.

    I agree, it looks bad, unfortunately the Series S can only run the base Xbox One version of the game.

    Hi,

    It's up to game developers to upgrade/enhance their games for a given platform. Nothing Microsoft can do about that.

    Bear in mind that the Series S can not run Xbox One enhanced titles with their upgraded resolutions/graphics as the Series S has less RAM than One X. For a game like Soul Calibur 6 to have better visuals on a Series S or X, it would require the game to be updated by the same people that made the game unfortunately.

    It looks like a Xbox 360 game on my series s. That's a problem
