Games taking too long to start

Ever since i have downloaded the new update onto my xbox none of my games are loading i always get an error message saying "took to long to start" with the error code (0x8027025a) please help!

I can't get FIFA15 to start. Says it is taking too long. Error code 0x8027025a.

Have hard rebooted and cleared cache about 15 times now with no success. EA support says it's a Microsoft issue. Anyone else encountered this? Any ideas on how to resolve?

 

Yes having the same problem.

Spent all night on online chat trying everything to make it work.

Come on Xbox preview team please fix it...

 

Latest update seems to have fixed this but now unable to play Forza 6 online. I can load game select online racing and vote for track select car but as soon the countdown finishes the load screen for the next race is as far as I get before disconnect message
appears and I return to lobby.

I have soft reset my console 3 times and today did a full reset and still no luck.

Please help.

 

Try doing a hard reset first. To do this hold the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug from the outlet for 1 minute then plug back in and power back on. If that doesn't work do a factory reset. Go to settings, console and
updates and choose factory reset. Be sure to choose the option to keep everything and your console will restart and you'll go through a quick set -up again. Once your back on the home screen your console should work normally again.

 

Hi MaximumExtreme. I have done all of that several times. Even a full factory reset and download of all my games.

Still same problem.

I have a second Xbox one in the house (my sons) and you can hear the harddrive working when the room is quiet. My Xbox is very quiet compared to his.

I think I have a hard drive issue and games are taking to long to load and I am being timed out of lobbies.

Xbox support and preview team don't think so.

I don't know what else to do. I am sure I need to return my Xbox for a repair but that does not seem to be an option?

 

have you tried a un-install/re-install?

 

Yes, done a full uninstall factory reset. Currently only have Forza loaded back on device.

Still no better.

 

What about redownloading your profile again? Try that and see if that works

 

Every time I do a factory reset on my console I have to download my profile again.

I still think others would be experiencing the same problem if it was a software fault.

 

I have not been able to play NBA2k16 for about a month now because of this issue. I have the game downloaded to my machine and it won't ever start. I have tried everything that I can think of or that I have found online as a possible solution and none of
it works. Very disappointed with XBox on this one.
