Games still playable if delisted?

This is something I've been wondering and trying to work out. I've read that Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2005) was apparently on the backwards compatibility list, but isn't anymore. For me, this is a game I really want
to play again and I don't want to spend extra money on a 360. My main question though, is if a delisted game is still playable via a digital copy of the game. Anybody happen to know? (This is to be completely sure on this, because I'm still getting used to
backwards compatibility.)

If anybody cares they fixed this. Now your character is playable in Hardcore. Game is still horrible though.

 

Licensing

So if I transfer my licensing to a Xbox One will my games on my 360 still be playable?

I've never heard of NFS Most Wanted being backward compatible. Once a game is made backward compatible, it is unlikely that it will be removed...

 

I would've thought something may have been done about that by now considering it's been over two years since the idea was brought up and that it's considered to be the best game in the
Need For Speed franchise. Then again, maybe something to do with the closure of EA Black Box could play a part in this as none of their other games are backwards compatible. But we'll just have to wait and see if it does become a reality...
