Games staying on One S console

The game will continue to show up in your recently played as that's the design of the system. When you have a disc for Xbox One and want to play a game, it'll actually install the game to your hard drive, but uses the disc to authenticate "purchase" or

What do you mean by "staying" in the console? Does the disc get stuck on the disc tray? Or you can't delete the registered game?

After I play a game and the game is over and I eject the game the game stays on the TV screen i meant to say could this be the disk drive going bad? When I turn the One S console off and back on the game goes off and back to normal.

The game will still show, if you eject the disk. You need to physically close the game on the console.
