Games sign in pop-up crashing when pressing continue

Running the RestoreHealth command yields error: 605,

" the specified buffer contains ill-formed data."

The log produced is corrupt and cannot be opened on my computer with the error: "Error performing inpage operation."

Running sfc /scannow command results in an error too;

"Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation."

Running chkdsc however worked

The update no longer shows up when checking for updates, and isn't in update history either

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

Being in use the system will ask if the user wants to check the chosen drive after reboot. Just type S and restart the computer.

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

You can still sign on when that message comes up. All you do is when the error message pops up press ok then on the next screen press home key (Xbox button on controller) and you will be signed in
