Games section on Xbox Marketplace is "broken"

Hey, guys! I am incredibly sorry to see that this is still an issue for you! I know that this started a couple of months ago, so let's see if we can get some more information from this.

I see that you have provided us some screenshots of what the section looks like to you right now. Would one of you be able to provide me a screenshot of what it
should look like for you all? If someone from Greece has what should be a normal Games Hub, we would be able to bubble that up to the proper teams with your current images so they can see what needs to be fixed.

I appreciate you all bringing this to our attention again! With this information and the troubleshooting you've already done, we'll work together to get to the bottom of this!

Hi there to all of you! I've also reported the problem through the forums (you can find it here, opens in new window) and though they said they'll look at it nothing has changed. I have also reported multiple times the problem that co-exists on marketplace.xbox.com
which is that we cannot purchase even free games without credit card! These two problems combined making the 360 a bit complicated to use. Note that both of these problems do not exist on the Xbox One platform which is frustrating as to how you treat your
"older" customers.

 

snikefriend If you are trying to get any game from xbox. com they ask you for a credit card (no charge is made) but it's not a problem, it's always been like that! As far as the "older" customers go yeah that's the sad reality, also I've noticed a whole
lot of problems with xbox live since the xbox one launched in my country. hmmm..interesting

PostMortemGR I am an Xbox Live member 4 years, and this is not how the system worked. Before they decide to change the Microsoft Points to Microsoft Currency I could buy things from the Xbox.com marketplace without the need of a credit card with my pre-paid
codes or with nothing if the game was free. This is how it worked and this is how it should work as it works in other gaming companies (...) . But, in 2013 Microsoft decided to go a step back instead and limit the ways we can give them money. Since then, they
ignore every post we have made about this and they don't care to fix it. And if you still don't believe it, go to store.xbox.com (Xbox One Marketplace) without a credit card and grab a free item. It will let you buy it. Yes because that's how they treat 360
customers now.

 

Oh I didn't know that.. Yeah that sucks, but you have a choice you know, we all do..You know what the choice is

 

PostMortemGR if you mean what I think you mean then no, the fact that they are ignorant doesn't mean that the other platforms are better! They should just care for their customers!

 

They should but since they don't care (and never will by the looks of it) there is no point in enduring a bad situation. You just go for the better product/company.

We don't have not only Games with Gold tile but even
Deals with Gold tile.

If you don't have a Pc and you just use your 360
it is impossible to find even the Gold members weekly discounts !.

This is way beyond my understanding.

We want to buy and we can't find the appropriate tiles.

(What sort of Marketplace is this ?, does anyone from Ms actually is reading our posts here ? ...)

 

I don't think they are going to fix it guys..It's been a week with no update and this is not a difficult thing to fix they should have done something by now. Apparently they don't want us to spend our money to Microsoft, so I guess I'm gonna spend my money
elsewhere.

 

Is there any update on the issue?
