Sorry to hear it. Which country do you live in and which country is your gamertag set for? Some content cannot be downloaded to regions outside of where they were intended. Please check the link below for reasons that you may not be able to change your

If it's region free (ie the developer or publisher didn't set it to only play on Japanese consoles) then crack on with no worries. If not you'll just get told that the game isn't playable on your console and you'll be out a few quid.

If a game is region locked you will not be able to play it. The code you are getting is because the game is probably not meant for your region

If the game does not show up under your region without you having to change to another region then it is not available.

If the game is available in your region and you change the region the game maybe unplayable because it is locked to that region. Lots of the games are region locked so you will need to make sure you are downloading games for your region.

if your console does not match the local region for games, then I'm afraid you will need to get games that will match the region or region free games (It is different per game, there are lists on the internet to see what games are region free or region locked).

The region of the console itself can Not be changed.
