    Games Refusing to let me Play


    My Games aren't working as they keep showing the "The person who bought this needs to Sign in" message even though my account was the one to buy the games. I was Playing GTA earlier and swapped to Destiny 2 when i got the message. Every game i try to access gives me the same message

    I tried restarting my xbox and nothing has worked

    EDIT: My other Xbox still plays the games so it seems to be a Console issue

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I want you not to worry about the situation because I am here to help you out! I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:


    Step 1:     Clear Mac address:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    Step 2: Remove your account:

    First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm then re-add your account.

    Step 3: Reset your console:

    If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
