    This morning I woke up feeling like playing MK11. Apon clicking on the game it said to wait for it to finish installing. This was strange because there were no updates for this game and there was nothing in the queue (my mk11 is on disc) . I thought that this would just fix itself so i went back on YouTube. Next, I felt like playing Minecraft, I went on to games and apps and it wasn't there. I ended up having to go to all games and reinstalling it. While it was in the queue it said installation stopped, I kept trying again and again but it kept saying the same thing each time. This is when i noticed that most of my game and apps were missing and randomly uninstalled in the games and apps tab.. Apps like FUNimation, twitch, Blu-ray player, prime video, Netflix, and others were all uninstalled. The game that was uninstalled were rec room, ROBLOX, pub g, call of duty, and a bunch more. None of them will reinstall no matter how hard I try. I've reset my Xbox multiple times and unpled it and replugged it multiple times as well. I would like for this to be resolved soon because I can't play most of the games I would usually play, especially the games I paid for.

    Thanks for that and now kindly try to install with the hard drive plugged in. If it will not work, reformat will be the resolution.

    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage.
    2. Select your device, and then select Format.
    Reformatting did work, thanks!

    The only thing I have to do now is reinstall everything. Are you aware if this will remove any passwords I had (Roblox fortnite WWE 2k22 etc.???)

    Thank you for letting me know. To check if it's the console or the hard drive let's try to install a game with the hard drive unplugged.

    Please unplug the external hard drive then perform a powercycle before installing any game. Make sure to keep the hard drive unplugged.

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​
    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​
    I was able to install stuff when it was unplugged (it worked when I clicked on MK11 but I paused because my internal storage is low on space) but I was able download stuff previously with it plugged in just not those certain games and apps. Should I pug in the hard drive and see if the power cycle fixed it or should I try something else now that we know it might be the hard drive?

    (in my previous message I got external and internal confused, my 2tb hard drive is my external hard drive. My apologizes)

    Awesome and in regards to your question, the games may require you to sign in again but as long as you know your details you should be okay.

    Are these games installed on your external hard drive? It can be the external hard drive is corrupted and you may need to reformat the drive.
