Games on Xbox onto your PC

I went on the Microsoft store today to see if I could download Sea Of Thieves onto my computer because I already own it Xbox and thought that it might let me download it on my computer. What boggled my mind when I got to the page however was the little
bar that said that I could download on to my computer through my game pass that I own on my account. If I can get it through game pass why can't I get it through my ownership?

I do own the digital version on my Xbox, however it is not showing that I own it. I looked for the standard version however you can only get it from the anniversary addition now. It says that it is not sold separately. EDIT: Nevermind, I found that I was
simply not signed in to the Microsoft store, thank you guys for all of your support!

if you do own the digital version then this will be available in download history on pc, dont look in the store as the anniversary edition is listed and if you have the bog standard edition it will ask to buy.

Do you own the digital version of Sea of Thieves? If you own the game on disc on your console, you won't qualify for downloading it to own on your PC.

To own Sea Thieves on Xbox and PC you need the digital version. And you must be signed in on your PC with the same account you use on the console.

For example, I own Gears 4. On the PC Game Pass it says this:

How are you able to download it onto your PC as well? I'm subbed to Game Pass Ultimate, but I don't have an option to download it onto my PC. Only my two Xbox Ones

Hey there Tomoseph! Congrats on the new PC! The good Judge above was correct. In order to be gaming and having those achievements to your Xbox GamerTag, you will need to use the Microsoft Account tied to that GT. So the same account that you log onto
Xbox LIVE with will be the one you log onto your gaming PC with. Make sense?
