Games on Xbox One S that support 120Hz

Discus and support Games on Xbox One S that support 120Hz in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Does anybody know of specific games that support the 120Hz option?     Games on Xbox One S that support 120Hz


    Does anybody know of specific games that support the 120Hz option? I only recently found out about this since I also recently got a monitor with 120Hz HDMI 2.0 support and I wanna utilize it more often.

    4k 120hz issue

    Hi,

    Do you have the Xbox One, or the Xbox Series S? You'd be surprised how many people get the names confused.

    If it's an Xbox One S, then that console doe not support 120Hz @ 4K. Also, the HDMI out on the Xbox One S is HDMI 2.0, not 2.1. Only the Xbox Series S and Series X support 4K @ 120Hz via the console settings. The One S is only 1080P.

    Bear in mind also, that there are no games for the Xbox One S that do 120Hz (or 120 fps). The 120Hz option is only there to support VRR (variable refresh rate).

    If you want to play 120Hz supported games, you will need a Series X. The Series S support of 120Hz games is a lot more limited.

    Note that on the Qn95a, only HDMI 4 supports HDMI 2.1

    Xbox One S does not support 120Hz. Only Xbox Series S and X support 120Hz, and 120fps is available in select games, including Fortnite.

    Xbox One S and X does not support 4K at 120hz and to get 4K at 120hz you need a HDMI 2.1 port on both console and TV,

    also the Xbox One S is a 1080p console that upscales to 4K unlike the One X which is 4K console.

    A: The Refresh setting will only appear if your console and display support 120Hz over HDMI. 120Hz is only supported on Xbox One S and Xbox One X consoles, and while using a TV or monitor that supports 120Hz over HDMI. While some monitors support 120Hz over
    DisplayPort, they may not support it over HDMI.

    Please note that there is a bug in the 430 build that 120hz does not show if you meet these conditions but have the color depth set to anything BUT 8-bit. The new build today to Alpha (504 build) fixes this bug."

    120hz Xbox one s problem

    what model tv, could be supporting the input but not actually supporting 120hz mode fully.

    also there is not really that much benefit from having the one s in 120hz mode especially when most of the games barely reach 30fps.
