Games on sale are more expensive than before they went on sale

A digital game is not a physical copy, but if I purchased A last week, and a bundle containing A+B went on sale this week, and if I compare that to the price of buying A+B individually and it turns out that is more expensive than buying the bundle, then
I should have been covered in this case.

The hard drive is faster than the optical drive, by a wide margin. You can purchase Game on Demand games, the downside is that they will be more expensive as Microsoft won't have nearly as good of sales as Amazon and others.

I actually thought the Fallout ones were terrible. This content should no longer cost as much as it does. One can buy Fallout 3 in the store with full DLC for 29.99. They want 25.00 on sale just for the map packs? A couple weeks ago they had Fallout 3 on
sale at the marketplace for 25% off which made it 15.00. If you took advantage of that sale along with the DLC sale the other day, you still paid 10.00 more than the retail GOTY. Regular price on all of this stuff makes the game 40.00 (over double) more expensive
than buying in a store.

I always install to the hard drive. I agree that digital distribution could be cost effective, but it currently isn't. Sure, they put a few games, most of which are several years old, on sale for cheaper than you could buy them new. But that is the exception
to the rule. For every title put on sale, there are half a dozen that are more expensive.

They make more/lose less money selling crummy hardware and replacing it than by making expensive good stuff to begin with. They make money on software sales. It's just business.
