Games on external HD

Hi

My grandons exteral HD has gone down with several games on it. He is worried about losing game data etc. If I buy him another HD and he downloads his games such as Fortnite again will he have lost any saved game info/data etc.

Hey there,

Make sure you have enough space available in your External HD for both games. Make sure you follow the steps QuickMythril posted. Moving the games from internal to external HD should work unless there isn't enough space available. Also make sure that the
external HD is connected properly. Hope this helps

Hi Daniele,

Thanks for coming to the forums. Essentially yes it will work, however if you are going to use an external HD, you could just keep the games on the external HD and not install on each PC.

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. All his save games should be available from the cloud save, so you can just re download the games on the new HDD and continue where he left of.
