Games on disk wont install!

    Games on disk wont install!


    I put the disk in and it said "installation stopped", when i watched the tutorial video about backwards compatibility, it said something about it needing updates to download the game, but the notification did not show up. so there was a problem, obviously!

    (my games were Borderlands and Halo Reach)

    Cant install game to hard drive....

    Wolfenstein TNO. The first disk installed but the others wont. Is their a way to install it properly??? I hate playing games straight from the disk for obvious reasons...

    Try installing the game to your HD.. the disk may have a scratch and that could be the reason it wont load.

    have you tried cleaning the disks then installing that might help so the disk wont be constantly spinning.

    its the same game so I don't see why it wont. it will literally be skyrim, with a 2nd disk that installs DLC for the game.

    Why dont you just transfer your wife account on flash drive to the new console. and then registering the new console on xbox.com to her account that way it wont take as long :/

    and if you install games, you still need the disk in the console. or it wont play the game, the idea of installing is to save certain content of the disk to spead up loading times.

    as i had a similer idea to you. its the same with pc games you get on disk. its to authenticate the game is not a copy ETC....
