Games on demand won't DL/Have to pay again?

Hey guys, I purchased the games on demand version of Skate 3, as it was on sale. Got the confirmation e-mail from Microsoft hours ago. The download percentage would just not change. So I cancelled the download and wanted to re-load it. When I went to my
download history, it repeatedly gave me an error message; that there might be a problem with the network connection. So I checked that out and it's giving me the error code that Xbox Live itself has issues but that my connection is fine. Okay, cannot access
download history at the moment? No problem I think, so I go back to the market place. But when I go to find the game in there, it tells me to pay €€€ again!

Any input? Or do I have to wait this one out? Will I be able to trigger another download through my history once that is accessible again?

Same here. Not fun at all. Makes me scared to DL the on demand games now

you don't have to have kinect, no. it works similar to netflix. also in terms of pricing. if you already have access to Rogers On Demand, you won't have to pay extra on your 360 to access it.

 

OK does your account region (country not continent ) match your actual regjon?

Yes, my region settings are correct. This is the first time I am running into such problems. My console is connected via LAN to my router. 60ms ping and 6.30mps DL speed. No speedy downloads by any means, but this one was still at 0% after 4 hours - Hence
the cancellation and attempt to re-DL. Normally it takes me 1-2 hours to DL a game on the 360.

 

What type of connection DSL cable or fibre? Or 3g or Lte

DSL cable. The DL speed has always been a little frustrating and my provider says they can't do anything for me, they pretend it must be bad conditions in the house. I can't seem to do anything about that...

I turned on the option for my console to continue downloading after turning it off and that seems to have done the trick for me. When I put it back on, it said "Skate 3 cannot be downloaded", then another pop up showed up immdiately "Skate 3 downloaded"
and now it runs normally for me!

That was really weird last night. Anyway, your help is much appreciated and I hope that this was the last time I ran into such problems. Thanks again!
