Games On Demand - Preorder Punch Card (Games Preordered in December 2016)

Hi there,

Do games that were pre-ordered in 2016 count towards to the Game On Demand Pre-Order Punchcard? It would seem a little unfair if they do not? If they don't......is it viable to cancel the preorder and then place a further re-order.... and is so, would
this then count towards the Pre-Order Punchcard??

Games on Demand preorder Punch Card problem

Hi there,

I have been making purchases to work towards the MyMission's rewards but they haven't been registering on the site. For example, I preordered 3 games for the Games on Demand preorder punch card but it doesn't show any ticks on the punch card.

The games I pre-ordered were Titanfall 2, WatchDogs 2 and Final Fantasy XV (the Titanfall 2 order was made several days before it was released)

Pre orders

If you preordered them on or after January 1, they would count as punches on your games on Demand punch card. The credits will not go out until 96 hours after all 3 games have been released

 

In order for games to qualify, they have to be purchased during the offer period. So if any games were preordered before January 1, they would not count towards this punchcard offer. You can contact Xbox support to cancel the preorder, but support will have
to respond as to whether or not that would count if you purchase it again.

Only purchases made within the offer period are eligible for the offer. If you remake your purchase by canceling a previous pre-order and re-purchasing during the offer period, then they will be eligible for the current offer.
