Games on Demand, Far Cry 3, download problem.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Good evening.

I am writing to you regarding my copy of Far Cry 3, purchased in May 2013 via Xbox Live Games on Demand. I was able to download it once on my Xbox and even finished the campaign, but later on I had to uninstall the game because of lack of space on the
disc. Some time later I wanted to re-download the game and to my surprise, I was unable to do so, since the download process would keep stopping at around 70% and resetting itself back to 0%. I tried to download Far Cry 3 on my friend's console, but the problem
repeated.

I would be much obliged if you could take a look into the issue, since there seems to be a problem somewhere from your side.

Price drop, but no price drop?

Far Cry 3 was previously 59.99 or 49.99 on games on demand. 39.99 is the new price for the game.

If you are looking for On-Demand games, I would suggest getting either Batman: Arkham City or Far cry 3

 

The issue with the download stopping usually has something to do with regional restrictions. Is your gamertag set to the same region (country) that you physically live in?

 

Well, currently my gamertag is set to the same region I live in, Poland, that is. But previously, since there was no Polish Xbox Live service, I had my regional preferences set to the UK. And that was when I bought Far Cry 3 and also during my playthrough.
I migrated to Polish Xbox Live some time later, when the service became available in my country.

Is there any way I could download the game again, considering the above?

 

Ok, it may be an issue from the origin of purchase. Some items cannot be downloaded if they were purchased from a different region than where you live due to IP limitations.
