    Games On Demand Downloads Becoming Corrupted Before Finishing


    I bought Fallout new Vegas, while i was in america. But I never downloaded it until I got back into turkey(the place that I currently live) and the file reached about 95-99% complete and then it stops and says that the file corrupted. Therefore I can't play
    the game. Is there any way of fixing this? If anybody knows, please let me know. Fallout is my favourite game!

    If you are getting the region error code in the console

    Downloading from the website won't help unless you change the region of your account to match your actual region

    Using the website doesn't avoid the problem it causes more due to the fact that if its a paid game you will be billed but the region check will check you near the end

    And still fail

    It isnot recommended that you use work arounds

    The only solution is a matched region

    Hmm, that's very weird indeed. Can you please try removing and re-installing that HDD? Let's see if it behaves itself like that!

    Some games are region locked by their publisher. You should check if Fallout NV is available for digital download in your country.

    As DangerousBard has already stated, some downloads are region specific..

    Perhaps try re attempting the download from the start. I.e cancelling the download and trying again. If this does not solve the issue, then I'm afraid the game might be region specific.

    Are you sure you still have enough space on the hard drive for the games? That may cause it to not finish.

    As suggested above, I believe this has to do with region locking and not your xbox or live account. I bought CoD: World at War when it was released on GoD, erased some time ago and recently tried to re-install it: it goes to 99% or so and then it becomes
    corrupt.

    I hope MS wouldn't change policies on the fly, as it is, that purchase is wasted for me now, since I could play it and now I can't. Expecting refund.
