    I have heard several rumours that a new "Gears of War 4" game is due out within the next year or so (unsure exactly when)

    I am not talking about Judgment - I am talking about a return to the proper series including the very popular Horde mode.

    The confusing part of this rumour is that if this game is released it will only be on Xbox One????

    If this is true I cannot understand how Microsoft would get away with it as the entire GOW franchise is supposed to be exclusive to the 360 ( except GOW1 on PC)

    Does anyone have any genuine info on this as I would love to know.

    some games don't want to start and the header of the notification says xbox store and the notification says couldn't launch as it would if my console was offline

    so I think we can all agree both consoles have very few games right now. the few that were on the xb1 which I have and played a ton of. reached max rank on titanfall beat ac4 battlefield 4 gets boring especially after playing titanfall.

    when are you going to allow us to play 360 on xb1 this is suppose to be the all in one console. and ive read about hooking up certain cables from the 360. I cant the shelf I use isn't big enough for both to fit in there plus hooking it up is a lot of work.
    I just want to beable to play 360 on xb1 that's it.

    when are they releasing software for this? and it better not be offline like the 360 was that blew so much

    I haven't heard any such rumor, but wouldn't doubt it as the video game world is made up exclusively of reboots and sequels, but if they did release a new Gears game in 2015/2016... I'm hoping it is strictly on the One. Hopefully that would help the developers
    to know they have to work with these specs and only one system.

    I disagree with you that if it were to happen it should only be on the One, after all as said before the franchise is exclusive to the 360 and all its fans would expect it to be on this platform.

    If it does happen they should bring it out on the 360 first (where it belongs) and then on the One at a later date. After all most new release games are made for both consoles and according to a Microsoft spokesman the 360 will be around for a long time
    with sales staying constant even with the launch of a new console.

    The Gears games are a Microsoft exclusive,not a 360 exclusive.

    Not a fan of the Gears games apart from the first one but i'm with Eggnogga,if the game is released in a year or so then it should be just on the Xbox One

    I bought a backwards compatible game and it doesnt show up on 360

    You would have to purchase the 360 versions of those games in order to play them on a 360. Even though the games are listed as 360 games, Rare Replay is not available for the 360 so the versions of the games that come with it do not work on a 360.

    News flash, I've liked & enjoyed quite a few of the gwg titles as have many others so don't think they suck.

    CoD & NFS games suck in my opinion.

    You'll be waiting forever for Too Human to be made backwards compatible after everything that happened with that game & it's developers.

    As mentioned,if your that desperate to play 360 games then why not buy a 360?

    They didn't need to waste resources on B/C.

    They did on the 360 and really no one hardly ever played the Original Xbox games on the 360.

    as has been said countless times, games will be made BC if the developer wants them BC, there are licencing issues and not just with the developers, also with game music, voices etc etc, as they are making them playable on a completely different system
    to which they were originally licenced to be on.
