Games of old that need to be remade/remastered from Next-Gen engines.

This has to be the all-time greatest time to ever be a game developer. The only thing people ever talk about wanting are remakes of games that are 10+ years old. Who needs/wants new ideas when you can just rehash the same crap over and over and over.

Slightly on-topic, I busted out Metroid (NES) last weekend for the first time in probably 15-20 years. It is MUCH harder than I remember it being. lol

 

I would rather have developers spending time making new Ip's...

 

Because new Ips are always so wonderful.

 

Change is bad. In with the old, down with the new.

 

^it doesn't have to be either or. People love to harp on sequels but without those sequels we wouldn't new ips or even existing come back or take more risks.

 

You keep playing your boring been done before games bro, i like a change even if it is bad...

Were talking about remade games here matey not sequels, even though they are over exaggerated and tiresome.

I would rather play a new IP over a remade game any day...

 

What can i say i like football... I'm not going to play with out of date teams plus i play with friends so its worth it.

Who's to say when you remake or remaster games that there is no room for new IP and fresh ideas. That developers cant be creative and add a few integrations, thing that they saw or seen during play, let say character attributes for one, the character had
four moves or something like that. Well fan and gamers wanted five, they can add that. Fans and gamers wanted a curtain weapon they can add them now with these new engines and how there built able to be tweaked after finalized for release. Just imagine your
favorite childhood games, but with 720p-1080p @ 30FPS-60FPS but wait there more all that plus DLC's. You did have that option then, plus you could ask dev to add or make changes then. Just say I want a sword boom you got a sword. Aw you want some Jordans on
your Zelda boom Jordans on Zelda. Remake/Remaster those games devs, I want games I don't have to get rid of because of extended play through DLC. Sorry if there's anything typos wrote all this on my GS4

I can't believe xbox did not pick this game up as a remake or exclusive of their own, smh! Sad.
