Games not working store not updating

Are you using a Wired (Ethernet) or a Wireless (Wi-Fi) Connection?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware.

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

The update for Battlefield 3 is not stored in the cache, it is stored with the battlefield 3 save games on the hard drive. Delete the update, then start the game, the game will ask you to download the update again, download the update. The game should now
work.

Try uninstalling the game and then reinstall it. Also, make sure you go to your Microsoft Store app and update the game's system update.

I have reinstalled several times and it does not work. In store, apps are updated automatically. What does game's system update mean?

I managed to fix this today, I had to go to the Microsoft Store, go to the store page for Xbox Game Bar and update it. I had tried updating it through Downloads and Updates, which didn't work, but apparently doing it through the store page did the trick.
