Games not working after move

I think, you are right by saying that there may be a hardware problem. I tried connecting the Xbox on the second TV last night, and unfortunately, the outcome was the same. The console turns on, but except the middle green light, there are no other lights
blinking or flashing or swirling.

The console is the elite Xbox, about 3 years old, so the warranty is not applicable. At this point, I am contemplating just buying a new one; due to nature of my work, I cannot wait a month for this one to be repaired.

I have all the inputs labeled on the tv, and I always make sure that the correct input is selected. I switched other components around to make sure that all inputs are working correctly.

In regards to resetting the display settings, I did try to hold Y while pulling the right trigger, but nothing happened because I can't even get the controller to sync to the console. The lights on the controller just keep blinking, while there is only middle
green light on the console itself.

This seems like it will occur if there is no video output. I have the same scenario when I have the wrong input selected. I don't get the Xbox sound at start up till that occurs. So please try resetting the video output first.

Try this:

Reset the console display settings

If the display problem is still not resolved, reset the display settings of your console. Here's how:

Remove any discs from the disc tray.

Turn off the console.

Turn on the console.

Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn on the console by using the Guide button on the controller. Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller will have the upper-left light illuminated.

As the console starts, on the controller, press and hold Y while pulling the right trigger. The display settings are reset to the default settings, and then the console automatically restarts.

Let's see if that starts fresh with the video and you get a response from the Xbox. And just double check that you are on the right input setting on the TV.

You aren't alone with this issue. Usually it is due to the video (HDMI) causing the interference.

If you tried two different HDMI cables and the normal AV cable, there may be a problem hardware wise with the video output all together. If your Xbox is under warranty I'd give Microsoft a call at 800-4MY-XBOX.

Do you have a 2nd TV that you can test the Xbox on? Also, when it turns on, does it boot all the way past the initial swirling player lights?
