    I've been trying to update overwatch for 3 days and fortnite for 2, fortnite is slowly installing by a few mbs each time the console is turned on however overwatch is not updating at all and it keeps saying "installation stopped"

    Resetting the Xbox One to default did not resolve either.

    I also had the same issue on my laptop trying to install from the Microsoft Store.

    It seemed to all work testing through a VPN though.

    I have a dynamic IP, so could have been given a suspect one on this occasion....

    Maybe this will help someone else, because I received none.

    Are you playing a game while trying to update? I've noticed that playing games that rely heavily on internet can stop/slow down the updating or downloading of another game

    Hey there, ItsJwrath!

    Have you tried resetting your network and then
    power cycle     the console? Also, are you currently using a wired or wireless connection with your console?

    Additionally, we'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps in the
    Slow Game or App downloads     guide for the slow download issue that you are experiencing with this game.

    Updates for the console itself will only install on the internal storage, and updates for games will only install where the games are stored. So if the game is installed on the internal storage, then the update for that game will install on the internal storage. You cannot pick and choose where an update is installed.

    Install the game without updating until the game completes the installation, then install the update. It should help.

    Make sure you have enough HDD space. If the game requires an update, try installing the game without the update first and install the update after the installation is complete.

    When a GFWL game gets a title update, it downloads the update then you need to exit the game before the update will install. There will likely be some prompts or acknowledgements through the install process. Did you exit the game and allow the update to

    Hello!

    1- Try to reset the xbox and see if so when you start update the status of the game

    2- Go to manage game data and check that it is installed or pending installation.

    3- Uninstall the game and restart the xbox

    4-Install the games and then install all the updates, be careful not to install any updates before the game.
