Games not starting

None of my games will start, that is for both Disc and Downloaded games, happens about every other day. When i select the game to open the splash screen displays and then back to the home screen. And please don't tell me this is yet another unplug your system
fix, that is getting old! why make a system that never needs to turn off when all you do is restart it all the time? and i know i can do all that through my settings but then i have to go back into the settings to to set back the other way, easier to just
unplug it.

Have you attempted to simply press the start button and quit the game? Also have you tried to do a hard reset through the settings? Also have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game as a last ditch effort? You could also contact EA about the problem

Hi,

yes in the forums it says you're silver(free), you will need to get gold to play. games with gold are only available to those who are gold. xbox one isn't like xbox 360 when you keep the game forever.

If restarting works, that is probably your best solution until this problem gets fixed properly.

Update: I got the email but the original problem continues- none of the support pages offer any further help.

Have you tried holding the Power button in for 10 seconds to shutdown Xbox One and restart? It may be that the game console was turned off while it was trying to write a save and it may be corrupted.

Hi. Please press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds to do a hard reset. Turn the console on and try again.

If that didn't work please navigate to the game under my games and apps and press the menu button and scroll down to saved data and select to delete all locally saved data. Your saved data will sync from the cloud once you open the game again

Xbox Live Service Alert out that is affecting purchases and content usage on the Xbox One platform. This may be causing some issues with purchases, however what you are describing is sounding like a 2K server error message and you may wish to check to see

Whenever it does that, I just hard reset the console. That normally helps.
