Games not signing into Xbox live - AOE 2 DE and Flight Simulator

I play AOE 2 DE and Flight simulator. When I open the games I see that the Xbox live is not signed in, when I try to sign in, it fails to do so. There is no error, I click on sign-in, it thinks for some time and goes back to the home screen.

Not able to play multiplayer on AOE and not able to play flight simulator at all.

Tried on 2 different computers same issue on both, didn't work 2 days ago, decided to work yesterday, and not working now. Updated windows twice in the past 2 days.

Below is the screen I keep getting, I click on let's go, nothing happens. It asks me to sign into Xbox live again, same with the Flight simulator.

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for posting a solution, it didn't work for me. Just to be clear I am able to login into my Xbox live account on my Xbox console, in the PC Xbox app, and the browser. The problem is only when I open the game and the game is unable to detect/login to my Xbox live account login.

It is either a windows error or Gaming services app error. This originated when I was unable to start my game and was redirected to install gaming services.
