Games not showing up with offline.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. We understand that your console is not showing any of your installed games while your console is in offline mode. We recommend performing a soft
factory reset. This will reset the operating system and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. You will have to re-sign in to your account, so make sure you have internet connection and know your
email and password before performing this step. This will also reset the home Xbox settings.


Please note that if you are part of the preview program, you should report this issue through the insider hub, as well as to
the insider reddit instead of doing the factory reset.

I do have it set as my home console. I can still insert the game disc and it auto plays, and i can still search for games. They just don’t appear in my games list. Its really strange.

I have tried every single step in that link (including resetting the OS using the USB drive method), and none of those methods fixed the issue. I even tried removing my Xbox One from the "My Home Xbox" on both the console itself and my Xbox account, and
resetting the Xbox to my home Xbox. This still did not fix the issue. I'm not sure what else could be the problem here. To be honest, from the way the console is behaving, it really appears like this issue isn't an issue at all. It acts like this is intentionally
happening, like the OS of the Xbox One is coded to make this happen on purpose so you are forced to have your Xbox One connected to the internet in order to make things work the way they are supposed to. I could be wrong of course, but that is what it really
appears like based on the way it is behaving.

EDIT: Now the Xbox is doing something strange. When I reboot the Xbox, my games show up. They are installed on the external drive I have. I tried inserting one of my game discs I have for an offline game, and the game started up automatically, like it should.
Now, however, if I disconnect the external drive and reconnect the drive to the console, only the game I inserted the disc for appears in the game list. nothing else does, nor do any of the apps I have installed to the external drive. I can still search for
one of my other games using the search feature, and they appear in the search and launch just fine. If I do a search for anything, and leave the search (even without selecting a game or app), suddenly all my installed games and apps appear again. I'm not understanding
this issue at all, but it does appear I was wrong about the games not appearing being part of the Xbox OS code.

Nope i checked that out first thing when the issue came up.
