Games not showing in "Ready to install"

Hello,

I'm writing because I was going through my game library today and I noticed some games missing!

So far, titles I've noticed are Evolve and Project Cars.

They were both Games With Gold, and they were both delux/ultimate bundles, and neither one shows in my ready to install list.

When searching for them on the xbox store, it does show that I own them, and dlc associated with the core games, however neither appears in my ready to install list, and I do not have either game installed at the moment.

Evolve was exceptionally complex to figure out how to download all of the different dlc items, having to select each item in the xbox store and going to "manage". When trying to download Evolve, I tried accessing the "Manage" menu from My Games and Apps
and it does not show any of the DLC at all!

My gold membership is currently active and from what I can tell, this only seems to be an issue with GWG titles that were given as part of bundles.

I am hoping there might be a fix for getting these to appear in my "ready to install" list so I do not need to jump through hoops in the xbox store, should they ever be deleted, or for if/when I upgrade to Xbox One X.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Game not showing in Ready to Install

If you have purchased the game from outside the console, try the display new items button in ready to install. If this does not work or if the button is not present, make sure that the option on the upper right corner is set to ALL.

 

Ready to Install Games Not Showing

Hello all

I logged on today (October 5, 2018) around 1:00PM EST and noticed something strange. My “ready to install” list of games has changed from its own subsection in “My Games and Apps” to a second window in the subsection of “Games”.

When i went to the “Installed” window, I had 66 games, OK cool that is normal. When I went to the “Ready to Install” window, I found that none of my games were there with a message saying “Here you’ll see digital purchases not installed on this Xbox” and
a smaller message under it saying “Find games and apps in the Microsoft Store”.

I messed around with the “sort by” settings but nothing changed. I even uninstalled a game (Terraria) to see if it was in the “Ready to Install” section, but it did not show. I did both a soft and hard restart but nothing changed.

Please help me, I hope this is just some bug that can be fixed instead of something permanent.

First thing's first: try a proper power cycle. That usually helps solve most problems with the Xbox.
