    I know this is an old problem, butbits been happening to me this last week, and i cant even watch movies anymore let alone play games. These simple issues ive had with my XB1 is enough to make me go to sony honestly, i might as well since ill most likely
    be starting all my games over

    Game bar not showing, Game DVR not recording

    According to Windows store, xbox app is up to date, I tried so far with CS:GO, The Division and Minecraft Win10 Edition(which is definitely a game, so even if the other two are considered not a game by xbox app, whyever that should be the case, this one
    should). I never got anything recorded, nor did i get to see the game bar. I Only play windowed fullscreen, and tried Minecraft Win10 to run as window.

    If the disc is unreadable due to scratches then there really isn't a thing you can do to make the console read it. I would suggest you check with your local shops and see if any of them offer a disc resurfacing. Game Stop is one
    such place and it usually runs around $3/disc.

    I hope this helps i would suggest if you can try and do Power cycle and see if that helps resolve the issue.

    Hello

    This means that particular profile doesn't own the game and that it's linked to another profile. You can always check your purchase history as well to verify this.

    If you're looking at buying an AAA shooter, i would chose Halo 3 or Halo Reach over both Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, unless you don't like sci-fi themes.
