    Hi, I'm here again after about 2 years since my last post regarding this issue. I was able to fix it before but now nothing suggested from my previous post solves it. When I press play or run the shortcut as administrator for Deep Rock Galactic nothing happens. If I try to uninstall and reinstall the game it gets to 100% and fails I'm assuming due to gaming services being broken. I run the powershell command to uninstall gaming services package, restart my computer and run the command to install it again. Eventually, the game is able to be installed again but still nothing happens when I press play. No error code or response from the xbox app. This issue has occurred on both of my computers running windows 10 and neither one of them will open the game after trying everything. I'm convinced it's an account issue or something at this point because there's no way, as obscure and undocumented this issue is online, that it would occur by chance again within one month of owning my new PC. At this point I would really appreciate a refund for the game but I know that request is impossible for Microsoft to understand. The game runs just fine when installed for the first time on a brand new computer, but about a month after installing it it stops working and no matter what I uninstall and reinstall or update and repair and reset nothing works. I'm really sick of dealing with the frustration every time I want to play this game. If it is at all possible I would really appreciate a refund.

    A lot of people are having this issue, it won't launch from the Xbox (Beta) app, but it launches perfectly fine from both the Xbox Console Companion app, and from the Start menu itself. It's an extra step needed to launch the game, but that should help
    you get into the game until they resolve the issue with the app.

    Hi,

    EA games have to be launched directly via the EA in order to play them. If you launch them on the Xbox App, the EA app will need to run as well to launch the game. This is standard practice with PC launchers.

    For example I own Mass Effect purchased via Steam. But, even if I launch it with Steam, it still loads the EA app. In which case I just launch it from the EA app instead.

    yea I know. When I start a Ubisoft game via steam, the Ubisoft launcher starts. It does not start automatically the moment I start steam.

    However, for the XBOX app the EA launcher will start as soon as I start the xbox app, not once I start an EA game.

    Right now I don't even have an EA game installed (not via xbox, not outside of it). The EA app only starts if I open the XBOX app.
