Games Not Installing

I've recently been rolled back from the preview update to the original and since I've had to reinstall my games I'm having issues installing Halo Master Chief Collection and Forza Motorsport 6 both digital it instantly stops the install with error code 0x87e0000f.
I've factory reset my console and my router several times and confirmed with my ISP Internode that there's no issues from their end. I'm not getting much help from Xbox Support as their only answer is to reset the console and if the issue remains it's not
their fault. Can someone please help as I can no longer play these two games that I play most often. Thanks.

Did you check to see how much space you have left? If there is a lot of space left try turning off your console and unplugging it. Press the power button for 30 seconds then plug it back in and see if the issue happens yet.

Forza isn't installing! But BF4 did! What gives??

Hey there! If you go to Settings, System, is there a system update available? It looks like that error can be caused by not having the latest update. If it says no update available, cancel the download, turn off your console (Settings, Power, Turn Xbox off),
and unplug it for 5 minutes. Turn it back on, and try the games again, one at a time.

Hi mate. There's no available update and I've done the power cycle several times with no luck. FYI I'm able to install any DLC for these games it's just the main game I can't install. My internet connection is good at 30mbps however my ISP advised that Microsoft
have been moving content to their new content delivery server but they don't have any further details. If you find anything on this let me know.

I would try bypassing your router and plugging directly into your modem next. I don't think Microsoft potentially moving content should keep it from downloading, but I know very little about how their servers work.

It also looks like deleting your profile and redownloading it has helped some users. I would think that factory resetting your console would cause the same effect, but I'd try it anyway.

I don't have a modem only a router and have tried different ports, different cables and tried wifi. I've also removed my profile and it still won't work. I believe it's my console as I've tried downloading Forza 6 on my gfs console and it works. I assume
it's something to do with my preview rolled back to the original dashboard.

Would it be possible to copy the game from her console to an external hard drive and then to your console? It seems like you've tried everything else, so I think if you still have problems in the future that a repair is your only option

I'm getting this problem and I haven't even touched the preview. Updates for halo and destiny seemed to go through but after that nothing has worked.

-Reset Cache

-re-download profile

-wired connection

-lost count of the number of resets

Nothing, sometimes all I get is blank screen.

Same problem here guys, I think it's an ISP problem, I'm with internode and the DLCs for the games will download but the game it's self will not. I went over to a mates house and used his internet (Telstra) and the games are downloading (Forza6, destiny,
halo,) so I'm not sure what my next step from here is...

OMG thanks so much it seems to be working

Last night I factory reset my Xbox and has been stuck on the update page

Should also note for anyone in Australia with Internode there is currently an issue with Freezone due to recent Xbox Live configuration changes http://www.iinet.net.au/status/4350911

Hello Megan,

Thank you for keeping us updated. Is this game a digital download, or a disc game? If it is a disc game, the disc could be faulty if used. Let us know this detail and we will do our best to help you out.

I would also test out your console to see if it is capable of completing downloads. Cancel the download for the cars game. You can then try downloading a demo, or a free game like fortnite.

Curious, how long have you let it sit at 40%? I've had games do this occassionally, and I'll see it sitting still when downloading and not progressing. I've honestly just left it and did something else, and came back later (maybe a half hour) and then
it would be moving a little again. I'm not sure if maybe the specific file it's downloading at that time might be larger or how it works, but I've done that before. I would let it sit for a little bit and see if it moves, but if it's not moving after 30-60
minutes then yes try more troubleshooting. Good luck!

Although you have stated that you have already redeemed the code, I would just like to make sure you are doing it on the right account first, then, if you are, please go to https://redeem.microsoft.com/ and type
