    Games not installing via Xbox app in Windows 11


    It was working well until the last reboot. Not whenever I try to install any game it gives a dialog box to install Gaming services which is already running in the background.

    Everything is Updated

    BIOS is updated

    No updates in Windows Store

    No Windows Update pending also

    I have tried Repairing, resetting, and Uninstalling the Xbox App, Gaming Services, and Windows Store still no luck.

    I tried switching accounts but it still shows the same thing

    Installed games are working fine

    Also not sure if it's relevant but in services 2 Gaming Services are showing

    Trying to install xbox app in windows 11 - getting error code 0x80070003

    After an update, the microsoft gaming service was not foud, even when i installed it again (even unistalling it and reinstalling it via micorsoft store). Xbox app wouldn't even find the install location for apps. This happened after i restored the windows 11 instalation.

    yes all windows 10 game codes will work and activate in windows 11 store, and yes most games are accessible via the Xbox app now.

    Xbox app can't install paid games on ARM devices

    Are you sure? Windows 11 on ARM can run x86 apps. The problem only happens with paid content being installed via the Xbox app, and normally paid games that are included with a subscription. The error occurs at the start of the download, as if it fails when it's trying to verify if it's been purchased or not.
