    Games not installing on Xbox One


    I recently bought physical copies of Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5. I successfully installed Ghost Recon and all DLC available. A couple hours after it was done i tried installing Halo 5. I inserted the disc and when
    it asked if i wanted to install the updates i clicked install. It installed about 300 to 400 MB from the disc and a small amount from the online updates and then said installation failed. I hit try installing again and it stopped again. So i tried the master
    chief collection and the same exact thing happened. I did a factory reset on my console and it still wont work

    I just purchased Steep on my Xbox one and it tell me the game is either not installing or queued.

    Unable to install Injustice 2 game to my XBOX ONE X

    I am unable to install the Injustice 2 Game on my XBOX One X. The game starts installing but does not install past 42% . I have tried all the suggestions (installing offline, deleting the game, restarting the console without the disc inside, etc...).
    Any other suggestions???

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are noticing random games installing onto your Xbox One Console. If this console is not your home Xbox, someone else's profile may be set as home. If this happens, any new games that person installs will then install
    on other consoles. To prevent this from happening, you can adjust you settings to not install games remotely; check out this article:

    PS4 games have to be installed, same as Xbox One. The installation speed is faster on PS4, but the game still installs.

    Thanks for your post. To clarify, are you asking about games on the Xbox One or Xbox 360? A game disc acts as a license to a game, on the Xbox One, the disc allows you to install the game data to your console, even though it is installed on the console you
    will still need the disc in your device to launch the content.
